Rooted in Service

At St. Thomas More, we are continually blessed by parishioners who quietly and faithfully live out the Gospel through service. One of our own, Beth Sullivan was featured in the Catholic Key in a beautiful Volunteer Spotlight highlighting her work at Morning Glory Ministries, where she approaches her services those in need with compassion, dignity, and a true spirit of Christ-centered love.

Her story is a powerful reminder that ministry is not confined to a single place or moment. It is a way of life. What makes her witness even more inspiring is that her heart for service continues to expand beyond the boundaries of our local community, showing a deep and growing desire to answer God’s call wherever she is needed, whether here at home or across the world. She will soon be traveling on a mission trip to Guatemala, extending the same hands and heart she offers here at St. Thomas More.

In both her local ministry and upcoming mission work, she is answering the call to serve the Lord through presence, humility, and love in action. We are deeply grateful for her “yes” to God, not just once, but again and again. Her example strengthens our entire parish community and reminds us that each act of service, no matter how small, helps build the Kingdom of God.
