Shaping Our Identity: The St. Thomas More Branding Project

Help us unify the parish, school and ministries under a shared visual vision.

The Vision

Why a new brand?

For decades, Saint Thomas More has been a vibrant, faith-filled cornerstone of our community. However, as we have grown, our visual identity has become fragmented. Our parish school, parish office, and various ministries, all use different logos, fonts, and styles.

Our goal with this project is to create a single, unified brand that brings all of our ministries together.

Rooted In Our Patron

Most importantly, we wanted our new look to be deeply connected to our namesake, St. Thomas More. The new design elements pay tribute to his legacy of faith, integrity, intellect, and courage, while presenting a warm, modern invitation to anyone who encounters our parish.

Concept 1: The Iconic Outline

This design bridges traditional faith and modern style by transforming the recognizable silhouette of our patron's classic icon into a clean, minimalist line-art outline.

  • What it represents: It captures the intellect, dignity, and courage of St. Thomas More in a bold, instantly recognizable way—focusing on the timeless strength of our patron without any unnecessary clutter.

  • How it unifies us: Because of its clean simplicity, this logo is incredibly versatile. It scales beautifully across our entire community, looking just as professional on a parish letterhead as it does on a school t-shirt.

Concept 2: The Church Silhouette

This concept is inspired by our physical home, featuring a clean, minimalist outline of our beautiful church building and its iconic steeple reaching toward the heavens.

  • What it represents: The steeple represents a beacon of hope and a visible sign of God’s presence in our neighborhood. This design celebrates our parish home as a sacred place of gathering, worship, and community.

  • How it unifies us: The silhouette of our church building serves as a shared home for all of us. This recognizable landmark easily translates across all ministries, instantly connecting our school families, parish committees, and local community back to the heart of Saint Thomas More.
