Annulments
What is an annulment? It is a declaration by the Church that at least one of the elements seen as essential for a binding marriage was not present. The word "annulment" when used by the Diocesan Tribunal (the office which studies the marriage in order to determine if an annulment is possible) refers only to the spiritual bond of marriage, not the civil. Advocates help the Tribunal with the process by meeting with individuals in the parish who wish to learn about annulments and possibly proceed with the process for one reason or another. Members of St. Thomas More Parish are advocates and are happy to assist you! Please contact the church office, 942-2492 or joan@stmkc.com, for more information.

Meals on Wheels
We deliver a complete meal every weekday to shut-ins. Often, we're their only outside contact. The meals are provided at a cost of $3.25 by Kingswood Manor where we pick them up about 10:15 AM. Delivery time is less than one hour. Volunteers vary from one day a week, bi-weekly, or on a substitute basis. There is always a back-up if you can't drive! Meals on Wheels is a personal, "feel-good" project. To receive the meals or to help deliver them, please contact David Butel at the parish office, 942-2492 x210 or at dbutel@stmkc.com.
