New Listings for May 2010
Religious Items
We are looking for a few good women and men to help sell religious items after masses on Saturday and Sunday... The goal is to have each volunteer work one mass per month or two months. It is as easy as staying for 15-20 minutes after mass! This is a convenient service that is, already, much appreciated by the parishioners and one that benefits St. Thomas More, as well. We will offer a short training session in the next two weeks-look for more information in the bulletin. Please contact Jennifer Harris at jharris@harriswood.net
SPRED
SPRED is the Special Religious Education For the Developmentally Delayed. No special training required. The program runs from September through April and is held on Mondays from 6:30 to 7:30 (every other week 8:30). We are asking for volunteers to be 18 and older, but are flexible. If you have a loving heart and would like to volunteer your time to this wonderful ministry, SPRED would love to have you! Please contact Becky Turner at bturner727@yahoo.com or 816-941-2193

Bring the Greeters Back!
The greeters are officially back at Church, but we still could use a few more helpers. If you'd like to open a car door, hold the door open or welcome fellow parishioners before church, please consider this wonderful ministry. All that is required is a friendly face and the willingness to be at Mass at least 20-30 minutes early. I will be booking people (hopefully) once a month at the Mass you prefer. Let me know what Mass you attend. contact Kristi at kpowell@stmkc.com
