Emergency Assistance
Saint Thomas More Parish is able to provide limited assistance to persons needing help with electric or gas bills and groceries. Non-parishioners must be within our parish boundaries in order to receive this assistance or they may contact the nearest Catholic church. September Emergency Assistance Report
In September, we provided assistance to eleven families, one of which is a member of STM. The total amount of assistance provided was $2268. Four of the families that we helped are headed by single mothers. One of the moms who came to us for assistance lost her job because her two year old daughter's health problems caused her to miss too much work. Fortunately, she has since found another job and is hoping for better times. If you would like to make a contribution to this fund, write a check to STM and write Neighbors in Need in the memo line.
