Several parishes in the Kansas City metropolitan area have begun offering CHRP retreats and have reported that it is making a tremendous difference in their parishes. Christ Renews His Parish is a parish renewal process that has existed since 1969 and has been recommended by the renewal office of the National Conference of Catholic Bishops. It has been used as the primary instrument of personal and parish renewal in over 826 parishes in 31 states in the United States and Italy.
The specifics
All meals are provided. There is no cost. It is overnight so you will have to bring bedding (pillow, blanket/sleeping bag, air mattress). There are two retreats being offered:
- Men's retreat (From Saturday, August 25 at 8:00am to Sunday, August 26, 4:00pm)
- Women's retreat (From Saturday, September 22 at 8:00am to Sunday September 23, 4:00pm)
