Childrens Liturgy of the Word
Each week as the parishioners gather for 10:30 AM Sunday Liturgy, a special liturgy for the children is held. The children are dismissed before the Liturgy of the Word begins. They gather in their appointed rooms, ages three to six in one room and seven to twelve in another. Their own Liturgy of the Word is proclaimed on their level of understanding, followed by a dialogue homily. A modified creed is said and the children offer their own prayers of the faithful. The children return to the assembly at the beginning of the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
