STM Faith Formation Team Ministry description
Who: A group of committed parishioners with the interest, ability, and vision to steer adult faith formation at St Thomas More Parish
When: Bi-monthly meetings, some involvement at events, plus some task force responsibilities on one’s own time
What: Developing adult faith formation offerings including, but not limited to:
- Guest speakers
- Prayer groups, regular or seasonal
- Bible studies
- Multi-part series on a topic (Tuesdays/Wednesdays for Everyone)
- Parish retreats, missions, or renewals
- Learning opportunities offered by e-mail or via the internet
- Aids for parents to develop faith in the home
- Enrichment for parish volunteers & existing groups
- Cultural events: concerts, drama, film, etc.
Length of Commitment: 3 years, renewable on request
